IN LOVE with Madhvi Ramani

How we met: we met in Berlin based creative collective Co-Creagency. Madhvi’s a well of sparkling and unconventional ideas - and also she turns her ideas into action. I’d call her an unlimited writer. Her genres encompass children’s books, articles, an online series, reviews, essays that reflect her multiple passions and have one (literally) golden thread: Madhvi herself.

How we met on a deeper level:
Madhvi and I are both in the process of writing a book. If you have a job that includes deadlines (as we both do) it is often the writing of the book that comes last. We both wanted to change that. And so “1p1s” was born. We committed to write one page per day of which we would sent 1 sentence to each other at the end of each day. And if we would not manage to write one page, we would write at least one sentence and not break the chain.

I had the privilege to be the first reader of quite some of Madhvi’s sentences. Her characters come alive, using only a few words. I look forward to read the whole book. “1p1s” also included that we support each other and Madhvi’s feedback on my sentences became a dear encouraging companion for my work.
